| Ancient Roman ruins, medival old town and newly developed area are all mixed up in the city of Herculaneum. They are clearly distinguished by the shapes of streets and blocks. From these urban backgrounds, two city rooms can be highlighted, one being the archaeological site and the other being the green house fields. They originated from different era, yet share similar conditions. |
