| It is a term that is still being frequently used in Korean society, which suffers from an ideological dichotomy even in this every moment. For Korea as a divided country, red means the enemy and the kin at the same time, a colour that has to be reconciled someday. A decade ago, the colour played another role for the society: the Red Devils, the supporters for the national football team. For every World Cup match from then on, almost all Koreans support the team, dressed in red. This is not a colour for antagonism or fear, but for passion and unification. |
